
$2 MILLION OF COCAINE WASHED ASHORE IN FLORIDA KEYS
The Florida Keys got a few kilos of cocaine, exactly 57 kilos, thanks to the ocean waves
126 pounds of cocaine washed ashore in the Florida Keys on July 29, 2022. That is a $2 million value of fresh cocaine, 57 kilos total. Around 6 p.m. beach goers were playing and enjoying the sun when the large packages of cocaine were pushed to the shore line by the ocean current. The location was near condominiums at mangroves.
The beach goers called 911 to report the drugs. Police arrived and observed the cocaine in large packages tightly packed with black tape. The contents field tested positive for cocaine.All of the drugs were turned over to the Border Patrol.
