María Esperanza Díaz, 26, died on April 24, 2022 on Glasgow Green Lane Charlotte, NC. Maria had just came to the United States from Venezuela for a better life. New findings show that Maria died from fentanyl and cocaine toxicity; both are very dangerous drugs.
Maria arrived in Charlotte on April 22, 2022. Maria was staying with a friend on her first day in the United States. Maria and her friends decided to go out to celebrate life on Friday night.
The women got a bite to eat and a few drinks. Maria and her friends separated that night with a group of other men and women. That was the last time Maria was seen alive. Maria ingested cocaine and fentanyl during her night out.
Unfortunately, Maria was found deceased in a vacant residence on April 24th. Maria had minor blunt force injuries and petechial hemorrhages at her lower eyelids. She also had an abrasion to her left face.
