MAN CAUGHT HIDING METHAMPHETAMINE IN UNDERWEAR

Drug suspect strapped narcotics to his underwear

On August 19 in Nogales, AZ more than two pounds of methamphetamine was seized that was taped onto a man's underwear.

The 35-year-old man was returning from Mexico at a American checkpoint when a narcotics detection canine alerted to an odor of drugs. After a subsequent search, officers discovered two packages hidden in the man’s groin area that contained more than two pounds of meth, worth nearly $2,000.

Officers seized the drugs and arrested the suspect, who was then turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
