On July 26, 2022 Border Patrol agents attempted to initiate an immigration inspection on the occupants of a Jeep Cherokee near Brownsville, Texas.


The SUV failed to yield and led agents on a vehicle pursuit that ended when the driver entered a trailer park where multiple suspects then ran out.

Agents apprehended four migrants who were all unlawfully present in the United States. A search of the vehicle revealed five bundles of marijuana weighing more than 235 pounds with a street value of more than $188,000.
