U.S. Border Patrol agents discover eight illegal aliens hiding inside a grain hopper rail-car of a freight train traveling into the interior of the United States near Hebbronville, Texas.
The incident occurred on July 30 when an agent conducting train check duties observed several cut seals on several grain hoppers. Upon further inspection of the grain hoppers, agents found eight individuals hiding inside an empty hopper rail-car.
Agents also found a makeshift ladder inside the rail-car.
The Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue unit assisted the illegal immigrants in exiting the rail-car, evaluated the subjects, and determined the subjects did not require medical attention.
