ICE STEPPING UP IMMIGRATION ARREST IN CHARLOTTE

ICE gave Charlotte Alerts a heads up this week that the agency is increasing its patrols and arrest of illegal immigrants in the area.

ICE aims to Identify, locate, and arrest illegal immigrants as soon as possible. Even at people's homes.

“Identifying aliens who overstay their authorized periods of stay is important for national security, public safety, immigration enforcement, and processing applications for immigration benefits,” ICE noted.

Since the establishment of ICE in March 2003, the agency has removed hundreds of thousands of criminal aliens, some of whom fall under the category of high-profile removals. High-profile removals are considered the rapist, murderers, and any other illegal immigrant accused of serious crimes.

Many immigration arrests are expected in the coming days.
