Five illegal immigrants from Nepal and Pakistan illegally entered into the United States in two separate incidents on Thursday April 16, 2020 in Yuma, AZ.

In the first incident, Border Patrol agents from the Yuma Station found two 27-year-old men from Nepal who had illegally entered the United States from Mexico. The men reportedly traveled from Nepal through India, Thailand, Colombia, and Mexico before entering the United States illegally near Yuma.

The men were provided medical screenings by on-site medical providers and were cleared for transport. They are charged with immigration violations.

In the second incident, a Border Patrol agent conducting surveillance observed six individuals south of Interstate 8, and directed nearby Special Operations Detachment agents to the group’s location. After questioning by agents, the six individuals were found to be illegally present in the United States. Three of the six were Pakistani nationals, while the others were Mexican nationals.
