U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended several individuals north of Cotulla, Texas. The individuals were illegal immigrants attempting to continue their journey into the United States via train jumping.

The incident occurred during the late evening of February 15, 2021, when agents observed several individuals aboard a northbound freight train.

The Border Patrol agents then contacted the rail service company and requested the train be stopped at the nearest siding for inspection. Agents apprehended 14 individuals who were illegally in the United States. The suspects were from the countries of Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico.

This dangerous method of illegal entry into the United States by illegal immigrants is strongly discouraged as it often results in serious injury or death especially during hazardous weather conditions.
