Officers made contact with the Amazon driver and were able to locate the stolen delivery van through GPS tracking. Cops then pursued the Amazon delivery van on the highway. The Amazon vehicle was seen colliding into vehicles during the chase.
The Amazon truck crossed the center median and struck a vehicle. Quintin continued on the freeway for several minutes when he collided with three vehicles.
The Amazon delivery van became disabled and the suspect ran on foot across the westbound lanes of the freeway in his attempt to evade arrest. The male suspect could not climb over the tall barrier wall, which then gave cops the chance to arrest him.
Fortunately, there were no serious injuries to any of the victims who were attacked, robbed, and struck by this suspect, although the suspect did cause significant damage to several vehicles while fleeing apprehension.
Quintin was arrested and charged with attempted murder, home invasion robbery, carjacking, assault with a deadly weapon, reckless evading of police, and suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs causing injury. He is being held on 1 million dollars bail.
