On December 1, 2022 Patrick Clark, 33, was arrested, accused of murdering Migos superstar rapper 'Takeoff'. Takeoff's real name is Kirshnik Ball, he was 28-years-old. 'Takeoff' was shot and killed in Houston, Texas on November 1, 2022.
Patrick was arrested at a home in east Houston, Texas in the evening.
Takeoff and other Migos members were at a party outside 810 Billiards & Bowling on San Jacinto Street in Houston. At 2:30 a.m. a dice game was being played at the party. A dispute erupted during the game and shots were fired.
Takeoff was shot several times, he was shot in the neck or head also. 2 other people were shot at the party too.

A fellow Migos rapper and others tried to revive Takeoff, even giving him CPR and chest compressions, but Takeoff still died on site. The shots sent people running from the scene. There are many restaurants and hotels near the scene of the murder.
The Houston Police Department's Homicide Division says the following concerning Takeoff's homicide:
"There was a lucrative dice game that went on at the event. There was an argument that happened afterwards outside the bowling alley, which led to the shooting."
