A woman is charged with driving a vehicle into a house full of people

25-year-old Imon Swanigan was arrested on March 31, 2020 after she allegedly drove a vehicle into a house on Lasalle St. Charlotte, NC. Nearly a dozen people were in the house at the time of impact.

Imon allegedly drove her vehicle into the house and drove away without stopping to see if anyone was injured. A teenager was transported by Medic to Atrium Main hospital for a major injury to his left arm.

Shortly afterwards, Iman was arrested and transported to the intake center. It appears Imon may have suffered injuries during the crash.

Imon is charged with hit/run related crimes.

This is undoubtedly a sad moment. I do hope these traumas won't affect the future life of the victim. In order not to allow such things to happen I check and fix my car regularly.
