New details show how 33-year-old Cameron Henegan died. Cameron was an up and coming rapper that made headlines in 2019 after getting into a fist fight with famed rapper Da Baby. Cameron died on April 24, 2021 in Charlotte, NC. The cause of death is fentanyl and cocaine toxicity.

Fentanyl is a potent opioid analgesic that is medically approved and prescribed for severe pain syndromes in the United States. Fentanyl is also found in illicit drug preparations.

On April 24, 2021 Cameron was witnessed coughing up vomit and blood, and then collapsing. First responders arrived to find Cameron pulseless and apneic on the ground next to his vehicle.

Cameron was transported to the hospital in an asystole state, where he was pronounced dead after an hour or so of resuscitative efforts. There was no obvious trauma or suspicion of foul play.

Toxicology results revealed the presence of fentanyl and cocaine in Camaron's blood.
