
FIRE STARTS AT LUXURY HOME, LIGHTNING STRIKE TO BLAME
A lightning strike caused a large house fire at a luxury 3 story home in over 91 degree weather
On July 17, 2021 a luxury house caught fire on Rudolph Dadey Drive Charlotte, NC. The fire started at the house in the afternoon during the sweltering heat due to a lightning strike. The fire was so large that 2 fire trucks were sent to the scene.
Heavy smoke could be seen billowing from the home from far away. Temperatures reached 92 degrees in Charlotte on the day of the fire.
Over 60 firefighters responded to the scene to control the house fire. Additionally, it took 80 minutes to put the fire out. No injuries were reported and the fire remains under investigation.
