HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER ARRESTED FOR DWI

Tameisha Guthery, 29, is a science teacher at Garinger high school

Tameisha was arrested on Sunday charged with drunk driving. Tameisha lied about her identity and even fought with state troopers when they arrested her.

Tameisha was driving drunk when she crashed her SUV in Charlotte, NC on the I-77 ramp and got the attention of emergency officials. Tameisha ran off the road and hit trees. Tameisha told state troopers that she was a teacher, she then lied about her name.
When state troopers moved in to arrest Tameisha she began to fight with authorities and got verbally combative.

Tameisha also refused to take a field sobriety breath test. Tameisha was arrested for Driving While Impaired. There is no word if the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system will fire Tameisha or not.
