I hope the man that got hit is ok and will learn his lesson from stealing beer. Far as the driver that hit and ran dang I feel bad for them because they would have gotten away with it. The driver must have had some existing charges.

I was at in the parking lot of QT and saw the security officer chasing two men who both had just stolen two 24 packs of bud light. The officer gave up and the men continued to run. We turned right at the stop sign and was actually trying to take a photo of their faces while my fiancé drove - we watched the men choose to run across the traffic right in front of us. We slammed on our breaks and watched the car (sedan) beside us hit one of the men. The man’s friend ran as well as the car. Clearly whoever was driving - hit him on accident but will now get a charge for running. Check the security cameras at QT!

I saw this happen from 5 feet away - the pedestrian was running from the QT - he and another male had just stolen cases of beer from there. He ran in front of traffic and got hit, the car ran, as did the co-conspirator.
