Jonathan Walker, 27, recently pled guilty to second-degree forcible rape. He was sentenced to 50-120 months in prison. Upon his release from prison, he must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

A 38-year-old female victim reported that on June 24, 2017, between 4:30AM and 5:00AM, an unknown black male suspect broke into her town home and raped her while she was asleep. This incident occurred in the Elizabeth neighborhood on Weddington Ave, Charlotte, NC.

The victim woke up to the suspect having sex with her, she tried to force him off of her, but he was too strong. When the suspect was finished, he fled the scene. The victim was transported to Carolina's Medical Center by Medic for treatment and took a rape kit test.

Helpful DNA analysis identified the suspect as Jonathan Walker. He was arrested nearly a year later in May 2018. Jonathan plead guilty to his crimes in mid 2019.
