MAN KILLED IN DRIVE-BY SHOOTING DURING CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

There have been 8 homicides in Charlotte during the Coronavirus outbreak in two weeks time

The Coronavirus is bad, but the homicide rate in Charlotte has shot up during the pandemic.

8 people have been murdered in Charlotte, NC in the last two weeks.

Tyree McIntyre, 20, was killed On March 22, 2020 on Ilford Street Charlotte, NC at 11 p.m. Tyree was standing outside of a residence on Ilford Street when he was shot by unknown suspects.

Two houses and three parked unoccupied vehicles were shot into during a drive-by shooting. No one was found to be shot or injured at the scene. But a short time later at 11:16 p.m., Tyree was driven by acquaintances to a hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Tyree was then transported to Atrium-Main hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, dying around 2:30 a.m.
