Eschod Ewing-Meeks, 26, shot and killed his partner Ashton Brown, 26, and their two children, Bella, 4, and Brixx who was just 8 months old. The family was tragically murdered in Davie County, NC on April 20, 2022.
On April 20, 2022 the family was seen entering a sheriff's department for unknown reasons. Eschod and Ashton spoke to officials about unknown matters, the family then left.
30 minutes later Ashton called 911 to report an unknown emergency referencing safety precautions. A deputy was suppose to call Ashton back per her request in the 911 call. It is unclear if a deputy called Ashton back.
Later that day Eschod shot and killed Ashton and his two children Bella and Brix in their home. Eschod then lit the family's home on fire, and then shot and killed himself.

Ashton was a school teacher and had been dating Eschod since 2014. They met in college. Ashton played softball and Eschod played football.
The two moved to Davie County and had 2 kids together.
Eschod was hospitalized last year due to extreme paranoia, nightmares, and other trauma. He had several concussions from playing football. Eschod's brain will be scanned for CTE.
