MAN SHOT IN HEAD DURING VIOLENT DISPUTE, AND IS NOW FIGHTING FOR LIFE

A gunshot wound to the head left a man in serious condition with life threatening injuries

36-year-old Ronnie Morrow is the suspect in two separate violent attacks in August 2020.

Shortly before 10:15 p.m. on August 11, 2020, officers responded to reports of someone who had been shot near the 900 block of North College Street Charlotte, NC. Officers arrived and located 33-year-old Josaphat Kasongo suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Josaphat is in the hospital where he is currently being treated for his serious, life-threatening injuries. 

A verbal altercation escalated to violence when the victim began to be physically and violently assaulted and then shot by the suspect, allegedly.

On August 13, 2020, a 48-year-old man was stabbed in the neck on Orr Road Charlotte NC. The victim is in the hospital with serious injuries. Ronnie was identified as a suspect in the stabbing too.

Ronnie is charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
