
MEN PLEAD GUILTY IN SKIMMING SCHEME AT CREDIT UNION THAT NETTED THEM $73,000
Two men made $73,000 involving a theft scheme at State Employees Credit Union as the victim business
Dumitru Coste pleaded guilty on January 30, 2020 in federal court for a card-skimming plot where he and Vartolomeu Florinin pocketed $73,000.
Dumitru and Vartolomeu are both from Romania. They installed a skimmer and a tiny camera on the ATM at a State Employees Credit Union in Mint Hill, NC.
The men got 147 card numbers and were able to steal $73,000. Both men have plead guilty, and they will both be deported back to their home countries and will not be allowed to return to the United States.
