A mother's worst nightmare occurred in Kannapolis, NC. On March 9 a woman walked in on Homer Compton, 47, sexually molesting her daughter. Homer is a known acquaintance of the family.

In efforts to get ready for jail, Homer Compton should probably watch the movie 'Straight Outta Compton'.

Rowan County deputies were called to a home in reference to a sexual assault. When they arrived, authorities spoke with a woman and the girl.

The mother told deputies she called 911 after she walked in on Homer molesting her daughter inside a home on Danfield Drive. The mother confronted Homer, and at that moment Homer became upset, grabbed a rifle in the house, and began making suicidal threats. The mother and her daughter left the house and fled to a nearby address.
