Charlotte, NC has been practically a war-zone since Monday morning, as 7 people were murdered in the span of 24 hours.

Dairyon Stevenson was shot and killed after a violent shootout erupted on the notorious Beatties Ford Road in Charlotte, NC. The shooting was on June 22, 2020. Dairyon was shot on scene, but fought his way through life for another day, until he actually died on June 23, 2020.

A total of 4 people were murdered in the Beatties Ford Road altercation, 8 people were shot, and 5 people were ran over. The Beaties Ford Road shooting occurred during a Juneteenth celebration in Charlotte. Juneteenth marks the end of slavery of black people in the United States over 100 years ago.

Hundreds of people attended the event in Charlotte, and video shows that as shots rang out people scattered into the night.

The other people killed in the Beatties Ford Road shooting included:

Jamaa Cassell, 39, Kelly Miller, 29, and Christopher Gleaton, 28.

Unrelated to the above shootings Aviana Carter, 21, was shot and killed on Montague Street.

And the homicide list goes on and on.
