63-year-old Mark Ehrnschwender was sentenced to 20 years in prison on June 21, 2021 for the sexual exploitation of minors and voyeurism in York County, South Carolina. Mark made videos of young girls either showering, changing, or using the bathroom in his home.
Mark pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and four counts of voyeurism. Mark was a Vice President at a engineering company and he also served as an advisor in the engineering department of a UNC system college.
In 2018 Mark sent an undercover officer sexually explicit pictures and videos of children. The investigation traced the user sharing the material to Mark's home in York County, South Carolina.
A search warrant was issued for Mark's home and officers found 501,263 photos and 8,907 videos of child sexual abuse material on his computer and digital-related devices.
There were also more than 7,500 voyeuristic videos that Mark had. Some videos he recorded himself.
Mark had placed hidden cameras in his bathrooms and he secretly recorded female friends and family members during an eight year span.

Judge Daniel Dewitt Hall sentenced Mark to 20 years in prison on the sexual exploitation of a minor charges. Mark received three years on each of the voyeurism charges, to run concurrent with the 20 years on the other charges.
Mark will also have to register as a sex offender.
