A beautiful college student was escaping harms way when she spun out of control and hit a tree

21-year-old Karissa Tatum was killed after crashing her car while leaving Savannah State University in Georgia to escape Hurrican Dorian. The Georgia coast was ordered to evacuate due to the hurricane, Karissa and other students were forced to evacuate.

Karissa reportedly hydroplaned on I-16 and hit a tree. She later died at Memorial Hospital. The other people in the car survived.
