A school bus driver will now be taking the bus to prison, that is where he will spend the next 22 years of his life

Kevin Michael Wesley, 33, pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor and criminal sexual conduct with a minor on October 7, 2019. The suspect was sentenced to 22 years in prison.

Kevin met the then 8th grade girl while he was driving middle school students in Berkeley County, SC during the 2014-15 school year. Kevin began a relationship with the 14-year-old girl and encouraged the girl to sneak out of her parents' house and visit Kevin at his apartment.

Kevin even bought the girl a cell phone.

It was there that Kevin had sex with the girl at least 10 times. The girl became pregnant from the encounters. The girl gave birth to a son in September 2016. Kevin later told Charleston police that he had been having sex with the girl. DNA evidence confirmed Kevin as the father.
