
SEVERAL DEAD ROACHES FOUND AT TERIYAKI EXPRESS II IN THE DINING AREA
The Teriyaki Express II restaurant scored a daunting 87.50 B during a food safety inspection on May 24, 2021 at 6434 West Sugar Creek Rd. Charlotte. NC.
During the inspection there were several dead roaches in the dining area leading to the kitchen. The health inspector recommended a deep clean to remove the pests.
The meat marinade machine was dirty with food waste.

There were no paper towels at the hand sink and there were no paper towels in the women's restroom.
The can opener was stored as clean, but was really soiled with food waste. The inside of the microwave was dirty with food splash. Additionally, the outside of the microwave had sticky residue on it.
Several foods were missing date labels, failure to correct date labeling will result in permit action against the Teriyaki Express II restaurant.
The inspector noticed several bulk containers of soy sauce stored under the prep table with no covers or lids.
Dirty sanitizer water in a bucket was being used for storing wiping cloths. The manager stated the sanitizer water was from the previous day.
