TEEN ARRESTED IN MURDER OF GIRL AT CONCORD MILLS MALL

18-year-old Dontae Black has been charged in the Concord Mills Mall shooting death of innocent 13-year-old Avenanna Propst. The shooting also injured two young boys.
Dontae was arrested on New Year's Day 2020 charged with first-degree murder and felony riot.
Officials say Dontae was in a verbal altercation with a 16-year-old boy in the mall near GameStop.
As the two exited the mall Dontae is accused of firing gunshots in the 16-year-old's direction. But instead of striking the intended target, the bullets hit Avenanna and two other boys.
The wounded victims were not related to the altercation.
