Two young men are headed to prison after they made the stupid decision to car jack victims at PLS Check Cashing

De’Asion Coleman, 21, and Marquise Sharpe-Tall, 21, were sentenced to prison on August 6 after pleading guilty to carjacking and firearms offenses.

On November 5, 2017 Deasion and Marquise car jacked two men at the PLS Check Cashing Center on Plaza Rd. Charlotte, NC. They even beat down one of the men before fleeing and leading cops on a chase.

The two male victims were in their vehicle when one went inside the business to cash a check, while the other stayed inside the car which was a Nissan Versa.

While in the car, the male victim was approached by Deasion & Marquise who pulled him from the vehicle with force, assaulted him, and pointed a gun at him.

The suspects then stole the car.

A short time later the vehicle was located by officers who attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the suspects fled and a vehicle pursuit began.

The pursuit only lasted a short distance when the suspects drove the vehicle into a house located on North Davidson St. The residence was occupied by 2 adults and 1 child, fortunately no one was injured.

Deasion & Marquise then fled on foot but were quickly apprehended.

In August 2019 Deasion was sentenced to 130 months in prison and three years of supervised release.

Marquise was sentenced to 141 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
