TWO ARRESTED IN MURDER OF WOMAN SHOT DEAD AND LEFT ON STREET

Two arrest have been made in the murder of 31-year-old Therrisha Steward.

Damontez Corbitt, 24, and Tequndo Cradle, 41, were arrested, accused of killing Therrisha.

Therrisha died on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Apparently, Therrisha was shot inside of a vehicle and then dumped on Tom Hunter Road at 1:35 a.m. in Charlotte, NC. The vicinity where the homicide occurred is an area despicably known for drugs, prostitution, and murders.

Evidence led to Damontez and Tequndo as suspects in this case. Detectives worked alongside the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, the United States Secret Service, and the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office to locate and arrest Damontez and Tequndo in Rockingham, North Carolina. 

Both suspects are being charged with First Degree Murder.
