VICTIM IN FIERY CRASH WAS FORMER WEST MECKLENBURG HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT

He had his whole life ahead of him and then it was taken in seconds.

Former West Meck High School student Christian Lanier, 21, was killed in a fiery crash on Brookshire Boulevard Charlotte, NC.

On Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 2:41 a.m., Chris was in a 2019 Audi Q5. The vehicle was being driven at a high rate of speed when it lost control and flipped.

Chris and 3 vehicle occupants were ejected from the vehicle, none of them were wearing seat belts. The Audi Q5 eventually caught fire from the cataclysmic impact.

Chris died at the scene. The other 3 occupants were all rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

Excessive speed is a contributing factor to this crash and drug use is suspected, officials say.

Young people you all have to make good choices in life. This young man did not think about how his family is heartbroken 💔 over his bad decision. Wake up people. Fast car, 2 in the morning, high speed. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. Smh
