Joe Biden just won the state of Michigan in the 2020 Presidential election. Biden now has 264 electoral votes, only needing 270 to win the election and become President of The United States.
Donald Trump has 214 electoral votes, and has more popular votes. Trump has already sued Michigan and Pennsylvania challenging their vote counting and alleged late absentee ballots. Trump filed the lawsuits immediately on November 4, 2020.
Biden has won Wisconsin too, which is a key swing state. Trump has demanded a recount in Wisconsin.
Millions of absentee ballots around the nation have missed the deadline to be postmarked and will not be counted. The Coronavirus prompted many Americans to send in absentee ballots instead of physically going to the polls and voting.
