Ismeel Chapman, 18, and Derrick Baker, 16, were arrested on March 27 for numerous armed robbery cases. Of the most notable is video of them allegedly robbing a Boost Mobile cell phone store in Charlotte, NC.

On February 14, 2019 at approximately 4:43 p.m., officers responded to an armed robbery call at the Boost Mobile store on Albemarle Road. The victims advised that one suspect forced them into the back room of the business. The suspect fled on foot and then was seen entering a vehicle standing by in an apartment complex.

On March 13, 2019 at approximately 6:00 p.m., the same Boost Mobile store was robbed by three suspects. The suspects demanded money and phones. The suspects fled on foot and then were seen getting into a vehicle. A short time later, the car was involved in a collision in north Charlotte. The suspects fled from the vehicle.

The suspects robbed several other businesses in the Charlotte area throughout March 2019.
