16-year-old Chavis Davis is on his way to prison after he pled guilty this month to two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon. Chavis was sentenced to 51-74 months in prison.

Chavis made the decision to rob a Hispanic male on March 18, 2018. William Allison, 17, and two juveniles were also allegedly part of the hit-up crew, but their cases are still pending.

Police first arrested Chavis, and during a police interview he gave a full confession pertaining to his involvement in the robberies, and was quick to name out the other 3 defendants that assisted him in the robberies.

The suspects "planned to find a Mexican and rob him", Chavis stated in the interview. Chavis ran through the victims pockets and took personal items.

On Sunday, March 18, 2018, Chavis and his co-defendants saw a Latino man in a parking lot on 6300 Albemarle Road Charlotte, NC. The four male suspects robbed the man taking his cell phone and wallet. William then shot the victim, leaving him bleeding with serious injuries, prosecutors say.

On Thursday, March 22, 2018, the group continued their delinquency at 6300 Beatties Ford Road. Three victims were at a park when the suspects approached them whole armed with handguns. The suspects took cell phones and money before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

Both the 15-year-old and the 14-year-old male juveniles were charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault with a Deadly Weapon with the Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury and Felony Conspiracy and transported to a juvenile detention facility where they are currently awaiting trial.
