Fancy shopping at Macys led to employees having a gun pointed at them

Jacob Rowlette was up to no good when he pulled a gun Thursday afternoon on Macy's employees at Northlake Mall in Charlotte, NC.

Jacob is a registered sex offender who has served jail time for indecent liberties with a child.

On December 13 Jacob was trying to steal clothes at the Macys department store in Northlake Mall at 3:45 p.m. when two employees confronted him.

Jacob pointed the gun at the employees and threatened to shoot them. The employees wisely backed off.

Surveillance video helped police identify and arrest Jacob.

Jacob didn't get the new clothes that he wanted, but now he will be wearing brand new orange jail clothes.
