On June 1, 2022 a 12-year-old child robbed a Marathon gas station in Hartford, Michigan. The robbery was at 3:45 p.m. The kid walks into the gas station and points a gun at the female clerk and says "put the money in the bag."
The clerk says "what?!" The child suspect repeats himself. The clerk asks, "are you serious?!"
And then the juvenile delinquent fires a shot in the ceiling during the violent robbery. The clerk gets the message and puts the money in the bag with a pep in her step.

The kid takes the money and makes an exit. The police were called, and the child suspect was caught a few blocks away.
The child is now charged with six felonies. A family court judge ruled that the suspect is a public safety risk and must remain locked up at a juvenile detention center.
