Aboriginal Leader Ovide Mercredi gave a stirring speech at the Crown–First Nations Gathering in January 2012.

Now, as the 11th Session of the U.N. Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues has wrapped up and leaders strive to bring the message of the U.N. Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples to the people, Mercredi’s discourse about decolonization earned thumbs-up from aboriginals everywhere.
