Awesome Frybread, Blue Bird Flour, Mutton Halloween Costume Goes Viral

When Facebooker Leeah N. Long-Edwards. (L Nicole Long-EdWds) of Gallup, New Mexico posted a photo of her daughter and niece in a ‘Navajo Frybread, Blue Bird Flour Bag alongside their “pet” Mutton,’ she probably didn’t think it would go viral in Indian Country, with an initial 4,500 likes and 500 shares.

As Long-Edwards told ICTMN in a Facebook message:

“I wanted to share this photo with you of my daughter and niece. We are located in Gallup, New Mexico, (the) Indian Capital of the World!”

“We did this for Halloween. We wanted to be creative … with a costume we’ve never seen in our area…frybread brings the family together. We wanted something positive and it’s been great with a little over 4500 likes and 500 shares… I just thought I’d share with you.”

Thanks for sharing Leeah! Let’s give the photo another boost of exposure!!
