Foxwoods’ Bingo Winner Takes Home $1 Million

At the 25th anniversary of Foxwoods Resort Casino’s high-stakes bingo competition, Firecracker Bingo, on July 2, Jennifer McKenzie from Niantic, Connecticut won the $1 million jackpot.

Victoria Rawlings of Newport News, Virginia took home the main door prize, a 2011 Chevrolet Corvette valued at more than $73,000. Another $100,000 in various cash door prizes were given away.

Since opening its bingo hall in 1986, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has expanded seating from 1,200 to 3,500, and it is now the largest high-stakes bingo hall in the country.

Six years later, the tribe opened Foxwoods Casino, which has since evolved into North America’s largest resort casino.
