Taos Pueblo fashion designer Patricia Michaels wowed the crowd September 10 with her latest collection from PM Waterlily featuring original hand-dyed fabrics.
“Guests were fascinated by each new piece that paraded down the runway, leaving them wondering what was going to come next,” notes a press release from Style Fashion Week.
Not only that, but as I sat among the attendees, I could hear them picking and choosing what they would wear and cheering on the models rocking the clothes, saying: “Get it girl!”
One of her fellow Project Runway contestants, Justin LeBlanc posted a video of her collection on Instagram and said “So proud of you #patriciamichaels! The watercolor skills are to die for.”
Another Instagrammer commented that she is “Making Native People proud!!”
Michaels herself was ecstatic after the show when posing for pictures with her models, her kids, and fellow Project Runway alum, who came to support her.
