Each year at the annual Gathering of Nations pow wow in Albequerque, New Mexico, the Red Thunder Rolling motorcycle ride benefits a worthy cause and brings attention to a grass-roots endeavors that promote family and community. Veterans are also a frequent beneficiary, including last year, when Red Thunder raised funds to help the Navajo Code Talker museum project.
This year’s ride benefits the Chichiltah Veterans Park, a memorial park dedicated to all veterans resting in peace. This park is the creation of Patrick Arthur and his family whose hard work and determination has provided a place of healing for veterans and their families; it is located in Vanderwagen, New Mexico, south of Gallup.

($25.00 registration fee; includes cost of a long sleeve T-shirt and lunch)
