NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK, OCTOBER 12TH, 2018 Native American Music Awards, Debut Artist of the Year, Calvin Standing Bear, album “Fly Eagle Fly”. “Fly Eagle Fly was composed by Calvin Standing Bear and piano by James Torres of the dual group, Red Tail Chasing Hawks. This song came to Calvin in a dream. He heard this beautiful song in the Lakota language which is to honor the Eagle Nation. The words have been translated into English. The song speaks for itself as you will feel yourself soaring with the eagle. The eagle flys the highest to carry our prayers to the Creator.

Calvin wants to thank his mother, Neva Standing Bear, Light in the Lodge, who helped him translate this song from a dream into reality. Neva has since gone to the spirit world.
