Actor Martin Sensmeier is coming to Manzano High School in Albuquerque!

The Manzano Indigenous Student Union cordially invites you to attend the MHS Native American Community Gathering Complimentary Dinner Will Be Provided Tuesday, Dec. 11th from 6-8 PM in the Cafeteria. ALL Manzano Students & Families Are Welcome!

Special Guest Speaker: Martin Sensmeier

Martin Sensmeier is an actor of Tlingit and Koyukon-Athabascan descent. Martin was raised in a tribal community in Alaska and grew up participating in Native American traditions. He is an ambassador for Nike, the Native Wellness Institute, as well as the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and advocates for wellness among Native youth of all Nations.

In 2016, he starred in The Magnificent Seven (2016), directed by Antoine Fuqua. He played the role of Red Harvest, starring alongside Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, and Ethan Hawke. Other TV and film credits: Wind River, The Chickasaw Rancher, Spare Room, Beyond the Sky, HBO’s Westworld, Perfect, Salem, Lilian’s Brood, and K'ina Kill: Slaver’s Son.

Sensmeier is co-producing and starring in an epic biopic on the life of the greatest Native American athlete of all time, Jim Thorpe, along with Angelina Jolie.
