In order to conduct proper oversight and help ensure consumer safety, Vice Chair of the Subcommittee on Aviation Sharice Davids will participate in a hearing titled “Status of the Boeing 737 MAX” on Wednesday, May 15, at 10 a.m. E.T. in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.

Testifying before the Committee will be Daniel Elwell, Acting Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Honorable Robert L. Sumwalt, Chair of the National Transportation Safety Board.
