Los Angeles: Around 1:47 a.m.Sunday, Apr. 25, 2021, California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a single vehicle rollover with one person trapped in the vehicle on the 10 Eastbound at Normandie in the Arlington Heights area of Los Angeles. When CHP officers and firefighters arrived on the scene, they located a Pitbull dog and a male trapped inside the vehicle. After firefighters freed the dog and the man from the vehicle, the dog started running from the scene. A photojournalist with Key News at the scene, grabbed the dog while LAFD put a leash on the animal. The male patient became combative with LAFD because he wanted to be transported with the animal. A CHP officer put the dog in the back of a patrol vehicle and another CHP officer rode in the rescue ambulance with the victim to a local hospital. CHP believes alcohol may be a factor in the crash.
