Los Angeles: Two men were fatally shot, one wounded in a shooting on the 6600 block of Makee Avenue in the Florence-Firestone neighborhood of Los Angeles around 1:00 a.m. Monday, May 31, 2021. According to Lieutenant Charles Calderaro with the LA County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau who was interviewed at the scene, there was a gathering at the location where the shooting occurred. The suspect is believed to have exited the vehicle when shots were fired. It was determined that several gunshots were fired at the location.

According to an update from the Sherif's Department Information Bureau, deputies responding to the scene located two males suffering from gunshot wounds. One 39-year-old Hispanic male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second victim, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, sustained gunshot wounds to his legs. He was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The deputies received information later on that a third gunshot victim, a 23-year-old Hispanic male, was reported from a nearby hospital. He was pronounced deceased from gunshot wounds to the upper torso, according to the LASD Information Bureau. 

A white colored sedan pulled up to the location, a possible argument ensued, at which time gunfire erupted, according to LASD. The suspect vehicle fled in an unknown direction. There is no additional information at this time.
