Driver Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision in Porter Ranch

A two-vehicle collision Saturday afternoon left a driver of one of the vehicles dead at the scene on N. Tampa Avenue.

Porter Ranch: At 2:39 p.m., Saturday, Mar. 6, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a traffic collision with entrapment on the 10800 block of N. Tampa Avenue. It was initially reported as a single-vehicle collision, but was revised to a two-vehicle collision with one vehicle striking a pole. The driver that struck the pole was trapped inside the vehicle and determined dead at the scene, according to LAFD. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured. LAPD Valley Traffic Division was at the scene investigating. The age and gender of the deceased victim are unknown at this time.
