A two-vehicle traffic collision causes big-rig to crash into a liquor store.

North Hollywood, CA. 3:20 a.m., LAFD responded to a traffic collision this morning involving a compact sedan and a big-rig, resulting in the big-rig crashing into a liquor store near the intersection of Lankershim and Sherman Way.

Firefighters at the scene transported the driver of the sedan to a local hospital and reported the driver to be in stable condition. The incident caused all traffic lights to go out in the surrounding area.

LAFD requested for building and safety personnel, as well as a heavy duty tow truck and is currently working to remove the big-rig from the building. Wet road conditions are believed to have played a factor in the collision.

No injuries were reported from anyone inside the liquor store at the time of the crash. Traffic East and Westbound Sherman Way is closed at this time as a result of LAPD conducting their investigation of the incident.
