LAFD Rescue Ambulance Window Shot in Pico-Union

The back window of an occupied Rescue Ambulance was shot by unknown suspect as ambulance was headed to a call.

Los Angeles: The back window of a LAFD Rescue Ambulance (RA) was shot by an unknown suspect this morning in front of Fire Station 13 on the 2400 block of W. Pico Boulevard in Pico-Union. The shooting occurred at approximately 2 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, as the RA was leaving to handle a call in their district. The two firefighters/paramedics in the front of the RA were not injured.

No suspect information is available at this time. LAPD Olympic Division are handling the investigation.
