A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in Westbury, New York, on Brush Hollow Road. The incident took place at around 9:40 p.m., Tuesday evening. The driver of the vehicle that hit the bicyclist fled the scene of the accident.
Police are currently still searching for the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run that left the bicyclist injured. Multiple police cars were seen searching the surrounding area for a vehicle possibly connected with the hit-and-run.
The bicyclist was transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries as a result of the collision.
