Firefighters from multiple departments fought a stubborn fire that began in the basement of a Seaford home this evening.

On June 1, 2019, at 6:34 p.m., firefighters from the Wantagh Fire Department were on-scene of a house fire on Nathalie Boulevard in Seaford, New York. Upon entering the residential home on the normally quiet street, firefighters attempted to battle the raging fire.

Due to the stubborn fire, the Wantagh Fire Department quickly called for assistance from surrounding fire departments such as the Seaford Fire Department, North Bellmore Fire Department, and other various agencies.

The fire began in the basement of the home, and quickly extended to the walls and first floor of the home. After the fire was extinguished, a search of the building was completed and no victims were found. There was nobody injured in this incident.
